China's new loot table requirements.

It says here, as of today any online game that operates in China must reveal data on drop rates for lootboxes. Will this apply to Shop Heroes as well, or does Shop Heroes not operate in China?

Well, they support language switch to Chinese, chinese characters, so likely operate in China. (too lazy to see if I can VPN to a chinese IP to see if the google play store shows Shop Heroes then...)
Would be nice to know chest, bag, quest loot etc. odds.

No idea how practical that law will be with things like apps that haven't been updated in months/years, would each and every RNG call need to have its possible results published or only ones where you spend premium currency?
as of 2016-09-11: Player level: 44, City: Eolythes, Blueprints: 517, Mastered: 419, Crafted: 78.61K
(except for tier 1 and some tier 2 artifacts mostly running my shop/gearing self sufficient)

I hope this is real, and I hope this becomes a law everywhere...

Any game that takes premium money and lets you blind gamble with it, seemed shady from the start. Advertising to kids to spend $5 to open mystery boxes is just like gambling in real life in my eyes. Sure, displaying the odds doesn't change things, but at least it helps.

Also helps with things like false advertising. I knew a (popular) game that had 0.0001% chance of ridiculous items listed as loot for boxes, just so people would buy them... Nobody ever got the item of course, but everyone learned to not trust the boxes anymore.

One can notice that a huge amount of income comes from China Japan or Korea in this game.

cloudcade is based out of California, but considering where their financial backers are located it is very likely the game is published in China.

I'm pretty sure they launched in China.
